I can honestly barely believe I’m writing this post, but my WordPress course is coming to a close! I am overwhelmed with an absolute, crazy sense of joy and pride. It has been such a powerful journey, packed with incredible insights.
But honestly, this week has brought a double celebration for me.

My first WordCamp — through the lens.

Exactly one week ago, I had the amazing privilege of being part of something truly massive. I volunteered as a photographer for WordCamp Portugal 2026!
Being more than just a spectator—capturing the raw emotions of the community, seeing the speakers’ eyes light up, and soaking in that electric energy through my camera lens—was an absolute dream. The WordPress community completely won me over with its openness and warmth.

What’s next?

The course is almost wrapped up, gigabytes of awesome shots from WordCamp are sorted, and my head is spinning with a million ideas. This past month has proved to me that the only limits are the ones we set for ourselves.

A huge thank you to my mentor Maciej Pilarski and the course creators for the knowledge. And a special shoutout to the WordCamp Portugal team for their trust and for creating such an incredible atmosphere! As well as photography team and Nilo Velez for the oportunity.

Onwards and upwards. New projects are on the horizon, and I am absolutely ready for them!
